While an executive with Hines, Robert Daniel served as the officer for the $350 million redevelopment of the Aspen Highlands Ski Area. From initial acquisition through completion of the project Robert was intimately involved in all aspects of this complicated mixed-use project that included land assemblage, entitlement, merger with Aspen Skiing Company, ski area support facilities, ski area improvements, single family lots, townhomes, community housing, retail and a Ritz Carlton Club. The Aspen Highlands Village mixed-use development includes 36,000 square feet of retail space, 31 residential lots, 32 townhomes, 73 Ritz Carlton Club units, a pedestrian mall, and 12,000 square feet of skier facilities in a village setting at one of North America's premier ski mountains.
